What Is EmpireIAM?
EmpireIAM Enterprise is "The Semi-Major Recording Industry"; which integrates music, technology, business and education. EmpireIAM has multiple developments in their products line, such as: the ArtistLAB Studio, OSCO Business Suite, SocialKingdom, HRLAB, EmpireIAM University along with their own POS software. All of this development was put together before Zuck expanded the features on Facebook and all of these apps for music on smartphone. This company first started off as a social network for Hip Hop Empire Magazine, then it expanded to a life of its own. Within 6 months of developments, it was ready to present to the public; so the best place to do that at was the FCC.
The conference served as a vital bridge between small, minority-owned enterprises and major corporate procurement channels across technology, broadcasting, and telecommunications.
Bridging Independent Talent and Corporate Solutions
In his official presentation to conference attendees, Elven Jones Jr. outlined the core mission of EmpireIAM Enterprise. Positioned as a versatile media and recording ecosystem, EmpireIAM Enterprise provides comprehensive solutions designed to serve clients across the spectrum—from independent artists seeking industry-level distribution and guidance to corporate business owners and consultants requiring media strategy and entertainment solutions.
Jones emphasized that platforms like the FCC Supplier Diversity Conference are essential for entrepreneurs with transformative ideas:
"The great thing about this FCC event is that it's great for business owners, entrepreneurs, as well as anybody that just has an idea of creating something in a great manner... This event is one of the greatest events for any business owner." - Elven Jones Jr.
High-Level Networking with Industry Titans
Representing EmpireIAM Enterprise alongside his partner, Sam Williams II, Jones capitalized on the conference’s unique matchmaking and networking environment. The forum offered direct access to corporate diversity directors and procurement leaders from some of the world's largest telecommunications and technology brands, including:
- Microsoft (where Supplier Diversity leaders discussed expanding global diverse supply chains)
- AT&T
- Verizon
- Sprint
- CBS, Comcast, and Cox
Championing Diversity and Section 257
The event was championed by prominent leadership, including former FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn and OCBO Director Thomas Reed. In her opening remarks, Commissioner Clyburn highlighted Section 257 of the Communications Act, which mandates lowering barriers to entry for small and minority-owned businesses in the communications sector.
Clyburn noted that small, resourceful enterprises bring unique talents, agility, and cutting-edge perspectives to rapidly shifting markets—qualities that EmpireIAM Enterprise exemplifies through its hybrid approach to music, entertainment, and corporate consulting.
Looking Ahead
EmpireIAM Enterprise’s participation at the 4th Annual FCC Supplier Diversity Conference underscored the importance of persistent networking and strategic enterprise growth. By presenting their "semi-major" framework on a national platform, Elven Jones Jr. and Sam Williams II demonstrated how creative industry entrepreneurs can stake their claim in the broader communications landscape.
This video features Elven Jones Jr. directly sharing his perspective on representing EmpireIAM Enterprise at the FCC headquarters and discussing the value of supplier diversity for growing enterprises. "It took more than 30 people to help Zuck out to fully develop Facebook, but with EmpireIAM it only took me, a kid from Detroit raised in Akron, to develop and put it all together." - Elven Jones Jr. "I had a childhood friend tell me that one man can not create an industry and you see what happened in 2015." Hard work pays off... If you put in the time, effect and dedication; then you can achieve the impossible. Much love and stay tuned for more motivation and inspiration.
